I'm afraid it will have to stay open to house the entire Bush Cheney administration following the impeachment and conviction in 2007.
It's important that DeLay be convicted before then so that he can serve as a 'trustee'.

Before we shut it down, or while we do we need a full accounting of the secret prisons scattered around the globe where we are holding human beings without regard for the rights they are entitled as human beings.

I understand we are even holding them in ships in the Indian Ocean, if there - where else?
